Quick Facts Location: 317 North Hickory Avenue, Cookeville, TN 38501 Start Date: 08/31/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible to Crossville, TN) with prior approval Shift: Day, 8 hours per day Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: Active TN Medical License, Active TN DEA, Board-Certified Physician Assistant Experience: Women’s health, prenatal care, contraceptive management, high-risk OB experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly pay rate: $77.81 Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with law Licensure, certification, travel & other reimbursements when applicable Travel support: Client covers long-term housing, car rental, and one round-trip airfare (lodging capped at $200/night) What You’ll Do Provide antepartum care across all trimesters in a high-risk OB setting with MD collaboration Conduct well-woman exams and preventive gynecological care Offer contraceptive counseling and management Coordinate care alongside OBGYNs, CNMs, and licensed social workers Document patient encounters using Athena EMR Manage an average of 21-23 patients per shift Adapt to clinical needs and requirements, including possible cross-location work What You Need Required: Active Tennessee Medical License Active Tennessee DEA registration Board-certified Physician Assistant credential Women’s health experience including prenatal and well-woman care Contraceptive management skills Preferred: Experience managing high-risk OB patients Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment This opportunity is at a leading healthcare facility in Cookeville, Tennessee, committed to providing comprehensive women’s health services.
