Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring apartments, common areas, and property grounds are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• $22.00 per hour
• Weekly pay through BG Staffing

Key Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely manner
• Diagnose and perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Prepare vacant units for new residents through apartment turns and make-readies
• Perform painting, drywall repair, fixture replacement, and preventative maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and property grounds
• Assist with inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to residents and staff

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and materials as needed
• Professional attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship
