Position: Physical Therapist

Salary: $84,000 - $111,000 per year (based on experience)
Sign-on bonuses available

Job Location

761 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT (Fairfield County; outpatient clinic)

Job Type

Full-Time — Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Shifts rotate between 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. We offer flexibility in scheduling and are open to discussing 10-hour versus 8-hour shifts. The schedule will be further elaborated during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your success will be achieved by:

  • Utilizing clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
  • Collaboratively creating and modifying evidence-based care plans that align with each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Administering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities to enhance function and alleviate pain.
  • Monitoring significant patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
  • Acting as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.
Qualifications

Requirements for Physical Therapist:

  • Current Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in Connecticut.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Experience in an outpatient clinic treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative, pre-operative, and non-operative cases. This experience can be obtained as a licensed Physical Therapist or during clinical affiliations for new graduates.
