Job Description
Schedule: 35 hours per week, 5 days per week
Student Population: 6th grade
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school caseload for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with young learners and values collaboration within a strong team environment.
Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services to 6th grade age student. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students develop essential communication skills that support academic and social success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates of varying experience levels are encouraged to apply.
