Position SummaryThe Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the community. This role requires a hands-on professional who can efficiently complete service requests, assist with apartment turns, and perform preventative maintenance while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and contribute positively to the maintenance team.
Compensation- $23.00 per hour
- Weekly pay through BG Staffing

- Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general maintenance
- Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Perform painting, drywall repairs, fixture replacements, and minor renovations
- Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Maintain common areas, amenities, and building exteriors
- Ensure work is completed safely and according to property standards
- Communicate professionally with residents, management, and fellow team members
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and attractive living environment
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
- Experience with apartment turns and make-readies
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and perform repairs efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and materials as required
