Registered Dental Hygienist

Eligibility Criteria for the Registered Dental Hygienist Role:

• Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
• Have laser certification
• Exhibit a strong commitment to oral health and patient well-being
• Deliver exceptional quality of care
• Administer local anesthesia as needed
• Experience with nitrous oxide is preferred

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH):

• Educate patients on dental hygiene, including tooth care and nutrition
• Remove plaque and tartar through scaling and polishing
• Take dental impressions and/or radiographs
• Apply preventive treatments such as prophylactic materials, antibacterial agents, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to reduce the risk of decay
• Conduct screening and monitoring procedures
