Clinical Social Worker, Emergency Psych Services Fri/Sat overnights

Position Overview

Our organization’s esteemed Social Work Emergency Services team addresses social challenges and needs within the Emergency Department and across inpatient services. We are currently looking for a social worker to fill our overnight shift on Fridays and Saturdays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Delivering clinical social work services to support patients and their families facing personal, familial, medical, and environmental challenges.
• Conducting psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, diagnosing issues, and formulating and executing intervention and treatment strategies.
• Engaging in the planning and execution of discharge and outpatient service strategies, collaborating with healthcare teams and community organizations to ensure effective treatment and service delivery.

QualificationsEducation

• Master’s degree in social work.

Experience

• Demonstrated clinical skills and familiarity with various therapeutic approaches.
• Prior experience in medical or hospital social work is preferred.
• Individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

Licensure/Certifications

• LCSW certification in Massachusetts is required; LICSW certification is preferred.

New hires will qualify for part-time benefits and a sign-on bonus of $2,500!

Note: This position requires availability on Friday and Saturday nights from 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM.
