Job Description
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FP/OB) to join our growing practice in Star, Idaho. This opportunity is ideal for a physician committed to providing comprehensive family medicine, prenatal care, labor and delivery services, and postpartum care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
\nThe provider will join an established practice currently consisting of three Family Medicine physicians and a seven-day-a-week urgent care. The clinic also offers on-site laboratory and imaging services and is designed to support continued growth in one of Idaho's fastest-growing communities. The practice maintains a strong relationship with Saint Alphonsus Nampa Medical Center, where deliveries will occur and where the physician will participate in required OB call coverage.
\nThis position offers the unique opportunity to build a full-spectrum family medicine practice while helping address the growing need for obstetrical providers in the Treasure Valley. The ideal candidate will value continuity of care and enjoy caring for patients across all stages of life, including pregnancy, delivery, postpartum care, and ongoing primary care.

\nSchedule: Traditional clinic work week, M-F, no less than 32 hours of scheduled patient contact time. Thursdays off. Required OB hospital call.

Requirements:
\n- \n
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; \n
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine Residency; \n
- Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment; \n
- Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at Saint Alphonsus Nampa Medical Center; \n
- Qualified to obtaining OB privileges and provide prenatal, delivery and postpartum care. \n
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy, DEA. PALS and NRP certification. \n
