\nWhat You'll Love About This Role\n
\n
\nStarting pay: $28.50/hour\n
\nPAID CDL Training - No experience? No problem. We'll train you.\n
\n$2,500 Sign-On Bonus - For those with a valid CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement.\n
\nOvertime Pay - All hours over 40/week are paid at time and a half.\n
\nMake a difference - Help your neighbors get to work, school, medical care, and more.\n
\nYour Day-to-Day Will Include\n
\n
\nSafely operating a city bus on scheduled routes\n
\nAssisting passengers, including individuals with disabilities\n
\nCommunicating with dispatch for real-time updates\n
\nEnsuring passenger safety and comfort at all times\n
\nConducting pre- and post-trip inspections\n
\nReporting incidents, vehicle issues, or schedule disruptions\n
\nWhat You Bring to the Driver's Seat\n
\n
\nHigh School diploma or GED\n
\nCDL Class B with Passenger endorsement - or the willingness to obtain it\n
\nA valid DOT Medical Card (or ability to get one)\n
\nA positive attitude and strong customer service skills\n
\nAbility to remain calm, focused, and courteous under pressure\n
\nBasic computer literacy and comfort with tablets\n
\nPhysical Requirements\n
\n
\nThis role requires the ability to:\n
\n
\nSit for extended periods while driving\n
\nLift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally (with assistance)\n
\nHelp passengers board/disembark, including use of wheelchair ramps\n
\nOperate in a variety of weather and road conditions\n
