The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approval, coding, and supporting documentation.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and contracts when applicable.
- Prepare and process payments by check, ACH, wire transfer, or other approved methods in accordance with payment schedules.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, including payment terms, tax information, and banking details.
- Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoice status, payment timing, and account discrepancies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and research differences to ensure accounts are current and accurate.
- Monitor aging reports, identify overdue items, and escalate issues as needed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting support.
- Maintain organized records for audits, compliance reviews, and document retention requirements.
- Support process improvements, internal controls, and efforts to prevent duplicate or fraudulent payments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, invoice processing, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
