Location: Illinois (Remote)
Salary: $50,000-80,000 + Bonus Potential
A growing boutique law firm is seeking a Corporate / Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its highly entrepreneurial and collaborative practice. Key Responsibilities
- Support commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development projects
- Manage transaction timelines, closing checklists, and electronic closing binders
- Coordinate signatures, document execution, and closing deliverables
- Assist with corporate entity formations and governance matters
- Maintain corporate records and organizational documents
- Prepare and coordinate state filings and annual compliance requirements
- Assist with due diligence review and transaction support
- Communicate with clients, lenders, investors, title companies, and opposing counsel
- Track outstanding items and proactively ensure transactions remain on schedule
- 2+ years of paralegal corporate transactions and commercial real estate transaction experience required
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment (must be based in Illinois)
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
- Commercial real estate development transactions
- Corporate governance and entity maintenance
- Entity formations and Secretary of State filings
- Joint ventures, private equity, or investment fund transactions
- Due diligence and closing coordination
- Registered agent platforms such as CSC
