Quick Facts Location: Monroe, WI Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 05/02/2027 (ongoing potential) Shift: 24-hour days (07:00 – 07:00) Hours/Week: Varies (approx. 8-10 shifts/month) Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: WI state license or IMLC accepted; BLS, ACLS, NRP required Experience: 1-2 years preferred Provider Type: MD/DO Board Certification: Required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $253.50/hr Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do Provide labor and delivery coverage, including routine management, cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum rounding Assist with emergency gynecologic consults, limited high-risk obstetrics Collaborate with support staff and other clinicians in a hospital-based setting Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation Support scheduled shifts that include both weekdays and weekends What You Need Wisconsin medical license or eligibility via IMLC Active BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications 1-2 years of obstetrics/gynecology experience preferred Strong skills in routine labor management, delivery procedures, and postpartum care About the Assignment This position is based at a hospital in Monroe, WI, a vibrant community known for its welcoming atmosphere and quality healthcare services. The facility focuses on delivering exceptional women’s health care, mainly covering labor and delivery with limited high-risk cases. Credentialing is expected within 60 days, and providers should be willing to float to other local sites such as Janesville, Baraboo, or Madison as needed. All travel expenses including airfare, lodging, and rental car or mileage are billable, with lodging capped at $250/night for the duration of the assignment.
