Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) experienced in telespeech services within a school setting. This contract position is situated in Fort Benning, GA, supporting students through virtual platforms to address their speech and language development needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to obtain one
- Proven experience delivering telespeech therapy in educational environments
- Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Ability to utilize teletherapy technology effectively and adapt therapy techniques for virtual sessions
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate speech goals into the educational setting
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations and reporting requirements
