Direct Hire in Telford, PA | Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 annually

Manpower is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to identify an experienced Plant Superintendent who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven production environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, driving productivity, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with AS9100/AS13100 requirements, company policies, and quality standards
• Lead, mentor, train, and develop production employees on processes and procedures
• Assign and manage workloads using production scheduling software
• Monitor productivity, quality, and operational performance metrics
• Maintain employee time and attendance records
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment and proactively address safety concerns
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and maintain skills matrix documentation
• Coordinate staffing and vacation schedules while maintaining production targets
• Administer corrective and disciplinary actions as needed
• Communicate effectively across departments to support operational goals
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements and optimize resources
• Manage inventory levels and support supply chain planning activities
• Provide customer delivery updates, shipping schedules, and production forecasts
• Coordinate the release of work orders to ensure efficient workflow and material movement
• Monitor current and future production requirements and collaborate with Production Supervisors to meet demand
• Support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of aerospace production experience
• Experience with CNC milling and lathe operations, including machine setup and G-code editing
• Proven success in production management and process improvement initiatives
• Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of inspection techniques, including CMM operation and reporting
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and 8D problem-solving methodologies
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume manufacturing environment
