Job Overview:Our nursing staff collaborates in dynamic environments with robust interdisciplinary teams, emphasizing a patient-centered care approach in a diverse workplace. Under the guidance and general oversight of the Nurse Manager, registered nurses apply evidence-based practices in alignment with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and directives from the medical team. Utilizing their knowledge and skills, registered nurses implement the nursing process to create care plans that address the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.
Qualifications- EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with the nursing process and customer service principles is essential. National certification in a specialty area is preferred. Experience in an acute care hospital setting is advantageous. IV skills are preferred. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Must hold current BLS certification or complete it within the first three months of employment. ACLS certification is required for Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, and designated staff in ACU/PACU and Endoscopy. ACLS is highly recommended for staff cross-trained in these areas. NNR certification is required for Obstetrics.
- QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess a valid CT RN license and be graduates of an accredited nursing program.
