This role is situated at the Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC.

Named in honor of Medal of Honor recipient PFC Bryant H. Womack, our organization is a fully accredited regional medical center with 110 beds, focusing on evidence-based practices and graduate medical education. We serve Fort Bragg, the largest U.S. Army installation globally, known for Airborne and Special Operations. Our primary care facilities are located in Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Linden Oaks.

Located in Fayetteville, Fort Bragg is just two hours from the coast and five hours from the Appalachian Mountains, with convenient access to I-95. This central North Carolina area enjoys pleasant weather throughout the year. Key Duties:

• Provide specialized knowledge in advanced general diagnostic radiology procedures, including but not limited to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA), Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.
• Gather patient history for general radiographic diagnoses, review relevant laboratory test results, and evaluate the severity of illnesses.
• Supervise radiographic examinations, ensuring that appropriate procedures are followed and correlating symptoms with the patient's pain and illness.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

To qualify, candidates must meet the educational and/or experience criteria outlined below. Experience includes both paid and unpaid roles, such as volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, community, student, social). All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be credited. Your resume should clearly detail your relevant experience; if qualifying through education, transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Requirement for Physician (Radiology-Diagnostic):

Degree: A Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from an accredited institution in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by recognized bodies such as the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. For degrees from foreign medical schools, education and medical knowledge must be equivalent to accredited U.S. institutions, demonstrated by permanent certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.

Licensure: Candidates must hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.

Graduate Training: After obtaining a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, candidates must have at least one year of supervised clinical experience, such as a one-year internship or the first year of a residency program in an accredited hospital or institution.

Additional Qualifications for GP-14 Position: Applicants must have successfully completed the required accredited residency training in the specialty of Radiology-Diagnostic and possess equivalent experience and training totaling at least four years. Experience cannot substitute for the residency training required for this specialty.

Salary Information: If selected for a Physician position, a salary quote will not be provided at the initial job offer. The salary determination process will commence after the job offer is accepted, involving the Activity Compensation Panel to establish your starting salary based on base pay and market pay. This will be communicated to you once approved. Physician salaries are based on a tier scale determined by specialty, grade, and location. This announcement may be used to fill positions at any of the following tiers:
