Electromechanical Technician

Role: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Location: Redmond, WA

Employment Type: 13 week contract to hire, must be willing to permanently relocate to Redmond, WA

Compensation: $40/hour straight time, $60/hour for overtime, $125/daily per diem available for contract duration, then must be willing to convert to a full-time role

Shift: Dayshift, can start from 5-9am, 10 hour days

Hours: 50 hours/week

Requirements:

\n
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with hands-on electromechanical experience.
\n
• Experience building, installing, repairing, or maintaining large machinery, structures, production equipment, or assembly lines.
\n
• Strong rigging and equipment-moving experience.
\n
• Experience with low- and high-voltage wiring, cable routing, terminations, motors, connectors, and/or control panels.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics.
\n
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work from limited instructions.
\n
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and shop/fabrication equipment.
\n
• Experience with forklifts, welding, machining, fabrication, or equipment installation is highly valued.
\n
• CAD experience is a strong plus.
\n
• Automotive, race car, aerospace, manufacturing, or similar hands-on build experience is highly desirable.
\n
• Must be flexible and willing to take on projects ranging from small component assemblies to complete production-line installations.
\n

Responsibilities:

\n
• Build, assemble, install, and modify electromechanical equipment, tooling, and production machinery.
\n
• Support the construction and installation of complete production and assembly lines.
\n
• Perform mechanical assembly involving gears, belts, drivetrains, motors, and other components.
\n
• Rig, lift, move, transport, and reinstall large structures and machinery throughout the site.
\n
• Route and terminate low- and high-voltage wiring, motors, connectors, and control panels.
\n
• Read and work from blueprints, electrical schematics, drawings, and CAD designs.
\n
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during equipment builds and installations.
\n
• Fabricate or modify components using welding, machining, and other shop processes as needed.
\n
• Operate forklifts and assist with material and equipment movement.
\n
• Anchor equipment, install storage racks and lifting tools, and support facility or concrete work when required.
\n
• Independently source materials and develop practical solutions when instructions or designs are incomplete.
\n
• Support a wide variety of development and production projects based on changing site needs.
