Our Client is a closed-door pharmacy that supplies medications to residential care facilities by way of delivery. We were originally founded in Illinois but with a mission to maintain our small pharmacy roots. That mission led to alternate locations including here in Indiana, offering the same focused attention on the communities we serve as we intended from the beginning.
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented pharmacist to join our team for a Monday-Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with additional opportunities for optional on-call coverage to supplement hours. Our day to day offers a break from in-person contact with patients while still providing opportunities for connecting over the phone. The strongest relationships will be cultivated with the nursing staffs at each community that we service. Familiar names and voices will allow for a more predictable and relaxed working environment. We take a team approach to customer service in providing the highest level of care for our communities while also respecting the work/life balance of our employees.

Daily processing of prescription and non-prescription medications while providing excellent customer service would serve as the primary role of this position. Opportunity for personal growth in understanding alternative dispensing methods while utilizing automation for medication delivery. Additionally, some medication therapy management/review would be asked of this role as well.
Responsibilities:
Encourage trust and respect among co-workers
Perform final verification of daily products being dispensed
Assist in order entry verification as needed
Accurately input customer information into pharmacy system when necessary
Package medications as instructed per patient request
Maintain confidentiality of patient information as required by HIPPA
Resident chart review/consulting
Requirements:
Pharmacy license active and in good standing with the Indiana Board of Pharmacy
Excellent customer service
Ability to work within a team
