Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys keeping shipments moving efficiently? We are partnering with a well-established organization seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide coverage during an employee medical leave. This is a fully onsite opportunity in Dublin, Ohio, expected to last around 3 months but could extend.

This position is ideal for candidates with transportation, dispatch, logistics, supply chain, or operations experience who enjoy coordinating appointments, troubleshooting issues, and communicating with multiple stakeholders throughout the shipping process.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments across an assigned transportation network while balancing customer requirements and available capacity
  • Collaborate with planning and operations teams to schedule freight efficiently and support on-time service performance
  • Monitor shipments throughout the transportation lifecycle, proactively identifying and resolving service disruptions, equipment issues, billing concerns, and other roadblocks
  • Communicate shipment status updates, delays, and critical information to internal teams, customers, and service partners
  • Maintain detailed records within company systems, document transportation activities, and assist with identifying service trends and process improvements
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, dispatch, or freight operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a high-volume environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, planning, and customer-facing teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay organized and prioritize effectively under deadlines
Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
