Job Overview

The OR Tech III is an integral part of the surgical team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves collaborating with the surgeon and RN to provide patient care and taking on appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an OR Technician training program
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently

Certifications and Licenses Required

• Certified Surgical Technician certification is mandatory
• NBSTSA Certification is required
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is necessary

Scheduling Requirements

• 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Full Time
• Alternating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
