Job OverviewThe OR Tech III is an integral part of the surgical team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves collaborating with the surgeon and RN to provide patient care and taking on appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgical procedures.
QualificationsRequired:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician certification is mandatory
- NBSTSA Certification is required
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is necessary
- 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Full Time
- Alternating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
