Compensation

• Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will carry out a variety of tasks within our Automotive Service Center. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering exceptional customer service.
• Repairing and installing tires.
• Balancing wheels.
• Installing batteries, headlamps, and other basic automotive components.
• Performing oil changes.
• Repairing brake systems.
• Fixing starting and charging systems.
• Working on steering and suspension systems.
• Installing shocks and struts.
• Conducting alignments.
• Installing trailer hitches and wiring.
• Completing other assigned tasks with ongoing on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Availability to work evenings and at least every other weekend.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• Effective communication with customers and colleagues is necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous auto repair experience is preferred.
• Prior retail experience is also preferred.
• *For Michigan Stores Only*: ASE A4 and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level II, and ASE A3, A4, A5, and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level III, or equivalent Michigan certifications.
