Our organization is in search of a BE/BC General Gastroenterologist to become part of our team at UT Athens, TX.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with two advanced providers and a dedicated support team.
• Innovative Technology: Enhance patient care without extending your workday. Our team utilizes Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to streamline documentation, lessen administrative tasks, improve patient flow, and ensure precise coding, leading to a better work-life balance and increased revenue.
• This is a full-time employed position.
• Experience in EUS or ERCP is preferred.
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient services.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (Clinic & Procedure days).
• Expected patient load: 18 - 22+ patients per day in the clinic.

About Our Organization:

Our healthcare system encompasses nine hospitals, over 90 physician clinics, more than 500 employed providers, 13 regional rehabilitation facilities, two freestanding emergency centers, six urgent care clinics, and regional home health services covering 41 counties. The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh within The University of Texas System.
