Primary Care NP/PA

SOUTHBURY AND OXFORD LOCATIONS Function: NP/PA needed for growing multi-specialty group in Connecticut: Providing high quality primary care in an office-based setting, 100% outpatient This practice sees adult-only patients (18 ), no children Full hospitalist service available Examine, obtain medical history and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Collaborate with management, other physicians and staff Provide high-quality care based on Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiatives/guidelines Provide on call coverage within the primary care group Employed position with competitive compensation plan and benefits (health, dental, vision, disability), retirement plan, expenses for license/dues/CME, generous PTO plan, paid medical malpractice including tail coverage. **** Requirements: Masters as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant CT State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required Minimum of 1 year experience Sell for this client: Collegial and academic presence (have internal medicine residency) but community feel; low turnover; tight-knit group; strong primary care and specialty support; modern facilities; big focus on quality of care. Only want 1 years experience, passing on new grads Internal Note: Call schedule is 1:8, would take any calls from home and work a 4 hour block Saturday morning seeing patients. There is no extra pay for this and you wouldn't get time off during week, just expected to do this extra 4 hours every 8 weeks.
