Material Handler 1

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Northborough, MA 01532. This is a 6-month contract position paying $20.46 per hour, with a potential temp-to-perm opportunity based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehousing, inventory management, shipping, or forklift operation and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The primary responsibilities include packaging finished pallets, loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments, transporting inventory throughout tech centers and the warehouse using a pallet jack or forklift, and performing data entry in an ERP system. Experience communicating with clients and carriers, coordinating shipments through FedEx, DHL, or USPS, and maintaining a high level of accuracy is highly preferred.

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Package and prepare pallets for outbound shipments.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, including truck and parcel shipments.
• Safely transport inventory throughout the tech centers and warehouse using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Enter shipment and inventory information into a customized ERP system.
• Generate shipments using carriers such as FedEx, DHL, and USPS.
• Communicate with clients and carriers via email regarding shipments and delivery information.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
• Support daily warehouse and shipping operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED is a plus.
• Previous experience in warehousing, inventory management, material handling, or forklift operation.
• Shipping, logistics, or inventory coordination experience is preferred.
• ERP system and data-entry experience is a plus.
• Experience coordinating shipments with carriers such as FedEx, DHL, and USPS is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing 30–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and tech-center environment.
