As a Senior Accountant, you'll be involved in key accounting and reporting activities, collaborate with experienced finance leaders, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages.
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and investigate variances.
  • Assist with audit preparation and coordinate requests from external auditors.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Support intercompany accounting, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other business partners on accounting-related matters.
  • Assist with the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred.
  • 3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Public accounting experience and/or financial services industry experience highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Background
  • Financial services, banking, investment management, wealth management, private equity, insurance, or related industry experience.
  • Experience supporting audits and month-end close processes.
  • Exposure to multi-entity accounting environments and complex financial reporting structures.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
