Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and investigate variances.
- Assist with audit preparation and coordinate requests from external auditors.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Support intercompany accounting, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting.
- Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other business partners on accounting-related matters.
- Assist with the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA or CPA-track preferred.
- 3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience and/or financial services industry experience highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial services, banking, investment management, wealth management, private equity, insurance, or related industry experience.
- Experience supporting audits and month-end close processes.
- Exposure to multi-entity accounting environments and complex financial reporting structures.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Competitive compensation of $95,000 - $105,000
