Salary Range: Starting at $39 plus an overnight stipend

Position Overview:The Wellness Nurse (Registered Nurse) plays a crucial role in supporting the Resident Services Director with the effective implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services within the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the associates in the Resident Services Department, including Resident Services Assistants (C.A.s).
- Assist in managing the medication program and support residents in self-administering their medications.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare providers.
- Report any significant incidents or changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director or Resident Services Director.
- Help complete resident assessments and develop service plans.
- Support the Resident Services Director in recruitment and performance management within the department.
- Participate in training and orientation for new associates.
- Engage in scheduled in-service programs, training sessions, and team meetings.
- Assist with the scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as required.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to associates in the Resident Services Department as needed.
- Support residents and their families to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Supervise RSA staff during the delivery of care.
- Must hold a valid RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care environments is preferred.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required.
