Setting: Itinerant – Multiple School Sites
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students across the district during the 2026-2027 school year. This is an itinerant position working across multiple school sites and collaborating closely with district BCBAs to implement behavior support plans and provide individualized behavioral interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral support and intervention to students across various school settings.
- Implement behavior intervention plans and treatment strategies under the direction and supervision of district BCBAs.
- Collect and document behavioral and progress data accurately and consistently.
- Assist district BCBAs with implementing evidence-based behavior strategies and interventions.
- Support students in developing appropriate social, communication, academic, and adaptive skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, BCBAs, and other members of the educational team.
- Provide support across multiple school sites as assigned.
- Maintain professional documentation and communicate student progress and behavioral concerns to supervising BCBAs.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred/required.
- Experience working with students with behavioral, developmental, or learning needs preferred.
- Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies under BCBA supervision.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel between assigned school sites as needed.
