Job Responsibilities

• Deliver lumber and building materials from our store locations to customer job sites.
• Operate a tractor-trailer equipped with a 45 ft flatbed and a forklift mounted on the back.
• Utilize the forklift for the majority of deliveries; some heavy lifting will be necessary.
• Be prepared for heavy lifting, which may reach up to 100 lbs.
• Start your day at 6:00 AM and work until all deliveries are completed.
• Expect a typical workday of 10 to 12 hours.
• Work from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts that are rare and typically half-day, finishing by noon.

Compensation

• Guaranteed base pay of $850 per week.
• Average starting weekly earnings range from $1,100 to $1,200.
• As drivers gain experience with job sites, forklift operation, and paperwork, both speed and earnings will increase.
• Annual earning potential ranges from $60,000 to $70,000.
• Commission is based on the delivery fee associated with each delivery.

Qualifications

• Must reside within 30 minutes of our location.
• At least two years of demonstrated safe driving experience is required.
• Experience driving in urban settings is preferred.
• Forklift experience is advantageous.
