Ultrasonographer - Machesney Park, IL

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver high-quality patient care as an Ultrasound Technologist in a collaborative healthcare environment. Utilize your expertise in general ultrasound imaging to support diagnostic procedures and patient outcomes throughout your contract assignment.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited Sonography or Ultrasound Technology program
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credentials preferred
• Experience with general ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment
• Strong attention to detail and solid interpersonal skills
• Ability to accurately document findings and adhere to departmental standards
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations following physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately record and communicate findings to interpreting physicians
• Ensure proper patient identification and maintain a compassionate, safe care environment
• Adjust and calibrate equipment as needed to obtain optimal images
• Maintain detailed patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws
• Support team members with technical expertise and a collaborative spirit

$2,206 - $2,333/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
