AlgoSec & Security Policy Management - 6-Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Hybrid (3 days Manchester)

We are looking for an experienced Security Policy Management specialist to administer, support, and optimise the AlgoSec Security Management Suite. In this role, you'll automate Firewall policy management, strengthen security governance, improve compliance reporting, and provide visibility into application connectivity and traffic flows across the enterprise network.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support the AlgoSec Security Management Suite, including Firewall Analyzer, FireFlow, ObjectFlow, and AppViz
\n
• Manage and optimise Firewall policies using AlgoSec automation capabilities, performing risk analysis and identifying policy violations
\n
• Govern Firewall change management workflows through FireFlow, supporting access recertification and compliance initiatives
\n
• Generate security and compliance reports for audit and regulatory requirements
\n
• Analyse network traffic flows and application connectivity dependencies using AppViz, and collaborate with network, security, and application teams on secure connectivity
\n

What You Will Ideally Bring

\n
• Strong hands-on experience with the AlgoSec Security Management Suite, Firewall Analyzer, FireFlow, ObjectFlow, and AppViz
\n
• Firewall policy management, optimisation, and security policy risk assessment experience
\n
• Firewall change governance, access recertification, and compliance reporting expertise
\n
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences, ideally in regulated or financial services environments
\n
• Desirable, exposure to Zero Trust, SASE, or SSE technologies, and certifications such as CISSP, PCNSE, or CCNP Security
\n
