\nSmartSourcing are looking for experienced Network Engineers with Proxy Infrastructure expertise to join a high performing Network Operations team supporting a complex enterprise environment.\n
\n
\nYou will be responsible for the management, maintenance and support of a large scale Proxy infrastructure consisting of:10 Non-Business Proxy Servers3 Business Proxy Servers14 Conferencing Messaging Proxy Servers1 Test Environment2 PAC File Servers\n
\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer with strong operational support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, implementing changes, and supporting business critical network services.

\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n
\nProvide Level 2/3 network incident diagnosis and resolution.\n
\n
\nSupport and maintain Proxy infrastructure across 28 Servers.\n
\n
\nPerform monthly server patching and maintenance activities.\n
\n
\nHandle approximately 30-40 incidents per week.\n
\n
\nProcess 20-30 web access requests per week.\n
\n
\nImplement network changes and service requests.\n
\n
\nSupport new project implementations, including SAS applications.\n
\n
\nAssist with server deployments and other ad hoc infrastructure activities.\n
\n
\nWork closely with stakeholders and technical teams to maintain service availability.\n
\n
\nFollow ITIL processes and best practices.

\n Required Skills ExperienceEssential:\n
\n
\nStrong experience supporting enterprise network environments.\n
\n
\nProven experience supporting Proxy Infrastructure.\n
\n
\nExperience in:\n
\n
\nServer maintenance and operational support\n
\n
\nIncident and problem management\n
\n
\nChange implementation\n
\n
\nPatch management\n
\n
\nWeb access administration\n
\n
\nNetwork troubleshooting\n
\n
\nValid networking certifications demonstrating technical proficiency.\n
\n
\nStrong understanding of ITIL processes.

\n
\nCheck Point Firewalls\n
\n
\nCisco Firepower\n
\n
\nCisco ASA\n
\n
\nCisco AnyConnect Remote Access\n
\n
\nKnowledge of routing protocols including:\n

\nBGP\n
\n
\nOSPF\n
\n
\nEIGRP
