We are seeking a High Skills Technician for Electrical Installation to join our client's team. This role involves maintaining and undertaking simple repairs for Electrical Installation equipment, assisting lecturers in preparing equipment and resources for teaching and learning, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards. You will also supervise students in workshops and practical lessons, instruct and support students, and collaborate with other Technicians to ensure smooth operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Maintain and perform simple repairs on Electrical Installation equipment within the Section.
\n
• Assist lecturers in preparing equipment and resources for teaching and learning activities.
\n
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times.
\n
• Supervise students working in the workshops and during practical lessons, with or without a Lecturer present.
\n
• Instruct and support students in their learning activities.
\n
• Work closely with other Technicians to ensure efficient operation of the area.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Experience gained within the Electrical Installation industry.
\n
• Experience of working in a training environment or with young people.
\n
• Ability to manage and monitor learners in a workshop environment.
\n
• Ability to work effectively without supervision.
\n
• Willingness to become a practising First Aider in the College.
\n
