About the role\n

As the Technical Surveyor your manager will be our Senior Technical Surveyor. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based at our Head Office in Castleford.

As the Technical Surveyor you will participate as part of a team in the provision of a comprehensive, effective and efficient Technical Survey Service.

\n
What youll do\n

Day to day your work will include co-ordinating and managing a personal caseload of technical survey work, assisting Legal Services in the completion of conveyances, plot checks, agreements and right of way applications by the provision of plans and maps to the requisite scale, and carrying out inspections, producing the relevant drawings/plans, completing statutory applications.

What were looking for\n

  • Youll have a City & Guilds Level 3 Award in 2D CAD or equivalent, alongside a qualification at Level 3 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework, such as A Levels, a Certificate, Diploma or equivalent. Youll also hold a full valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle as regular travel across the Vico Homes operating area and other locations will be required.

  • You'll have experience in survey work and be confident carrying out measured surveys, inspections and technical drawings, supporting land and property projects, assisting the Senior Technical Surveyor and preparing plans and statutory applications that help deliver Vico Homes' accommodation strategy.

  • You are highly organised with a proactive approach, with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload, communicate effectively with stakeholders, use a range of IT systems and software packages as well as solve problems using your own initiative.
