You will manage CDM compliance across projects in the residential, industrial and rail sectors, acting as a trusted safety advisor to clients, designers and wider project teams.This is a varied role where you will build strong relationships, take ownership of projects and use your expertise to make a real difference. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality CDM compliance while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.If youre ready to take the next step as a Senior CDM Principal Designer , apply today and discover a role where your expertise, development and wellbeing are valued.Key Responsibilities:Deliver Principal Designer duties and ensure statutory compliance from start to finish.Manage CDM compliance across multiple projects.Advise clients and designers on their CDM responsibilities.Carry out thorough site health and safety inspections.Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers and designers.Produce compliant RAMS and robust site safety documentation.Chair CDM hazard meetings, maintain trackers and liaise with designers.Prepare fee proposals and support accurate, prompt invoicing.Develop bespoke health and safety policies, procedures and templates where required.Apply knowledge of ISO 45001 to provide additional strategic value.The Benefits£40,000£60,000 salary, depending on experience28 days annual leave plus bank holidaysPrivate Medical InsuranceMedicash Cash Plan SchemeAnnual bonus schemeAnnual pay reviewFlexible working and work-from-home optionsSalary sacrifice and discount schemesEnhanced maternity and paternity leaveEnhanced compassionate leaveTwo volunteering days per yearBirthday lunchesThe PersonYou will have:NEBOSH Diploma, Degree in Health and Safety or equivalentAPS or IOSH membershipStrong knowledge and practical application of the CDM Regulations 2015Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulationsExperience as a CDM Principal Designer or CDM ConsultantDesirable experience includes Fire Risk Assessments, Building Regulations duties, HRB projects and the rail sector.
