Accountant Location: Elland, West Yorkshire Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOEAn established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an Accountant to join its friendly and professional team in Elland.This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT Level 4 qualified Accountant with ideally 2 years' post-qualification experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive practice environment. Applications are also welcomed from candidates with more extensive practice experience and strong client-facing skills.Key Responsibilities: Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Produce personal, partnership and corporation tax returns. Prepare VAT returns and financial statements. Liaise with clients to resolve queries and gather information. Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines for accounts and tax submissions. Maintain accurate client records and support company secretarial duties. Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients. Support junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement across the practice.The Ideal Candidate: AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent). Minimum of 2 years' accountancy practice experience post qualification. Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge. Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail. Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach. Experience using IRIS software would be advantageous but is not essential.TPBN1_UKTJ
