Commissioning Engineer - ABB 800xA / AC800M (Offshore Rotation)Location: Overseas OffshoreContract Length: Initial 12-month contractRotation: 5 Weeks On / 5 Weeks OffRate: £80-£90 per hourWorking Hours: 12-hour days (including travel days)Key ResponsibilitiesCommission, test and support ABB automation and control systems.Program, configure and modify ABB AC800M controllers.Work with ABB 800xA distributed control systems.Support and maintain Safeguard legacy systems, including programming and modifications.Carry out commissioning activities in accordance with project schedules and safety procedures.Diagnose and resolve control system issues during commissioning and start-up.Produce commissioning documentation and provide technical support throughout project delivery.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project completion.Essential RequirementsProven commissioning experience within offshore or process industry environments.Strong hands-on experience with ABB 800xA.Experience programming ABB AC800M controllers.Experience working with and programming Safeguard legacy systems.Ability to troubleshoot complex automation and control systems.Strong understanding of commissioning procedures and safe systems of work.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Desirable ExperiencePrevious offshore commissioning experience.Experience on oil & gas, energy, or other process industry projects.Relevant offshore certification (or willingness to obtain prior to mobilisation).If this role is of interest, get in touch with Alex at JAM as soon as possible.TPBN1_UKTJ
