The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with Saturday work also available for those looking for additional hours.The Role You will be carrying out a range of passive fire protection works, including:Fire stopping to walls, floors and service penetrationsInstallation of fire battApplying fire-rated mastic and sealantsInstallation of fire collars and pipe wrapsCompound fire stoppingSealing cable, pipe and duct penetrationsInstalling and maintaining passive fire protection systemsCarrying out remedial fire stopping worksEnsuring all installations meet required fire safety specificationsMaintaining a high standard of workmanship throughoutRequirements Applicants must have:Previous experience working as a Fire Stopper / Passive Fire OperativeStrong knowledge of passive fire protection systemsExperience with fire batt, mastic, collars, wraps and penetration sealingValid CSCS CardRelevant passive fire qualifications/certificationsOwn toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood attention to detailReliability and good timekeepingReferences from previous fire stopping projectsWhat's on Offer? £27.00 per hour8:00am 5:00pmMonday to FridaySaturdays availableImmediate startsFull-time hoursOngoing, long-term projectConsistent work for reliable operativesWe are looking for experienced fire stoppers who can start immediately .
