The Maintenance Engineer vacancy is working with a market leading manufacturing firm based in the Widnes area of Liverpool. The position offers excellent opportunities for both training and career development.What's in it for you as a Maintenance EngineerHours of work 40 hours per week - Mon - Fri Days (Mornings and afternoons - 6-2/2-10)Salary - Up to £45,000 per annumOvertime at a premium of 1.5xKPI Production bonusCompany profit share schemeExcellent pension company contributionTraining and career development opportunities30 days holiday (Increasing by 1 each year up to finishing at 36 days holiday) Inclusive of Bank HolidaysMain Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer include:Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs, ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining manufacturing machineryRepair of equipment including pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic valves, pneumatic valves and equipment.Fabrication of parts for the plants as well as weldingEmergency breakdowns of equipment including conveyors, vibrators, mixers, hoppers and hydraulic press equipmentExperience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer:Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or ElectricalHigh degree of Health & Safety awarenessA competent welder would be advantageousAbility to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problemsMaintenance Engineer experience or qualifications of a Maintenance EngineerThe position may suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, maintenance fitter, maintenance electrician, multiskilled engineer.If interested, please apply now!TPBN1_UKTJ
