Excellent Salary + Bonus + Outstanding BenefitsThe Opportunity An industry-leading specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support the delivery of one of the UK's largest and most prestigious infrastructure projects.Working within a collaborative alliance environment, you'll play a key role in delivering complex ground engineering, diaphragm wall and soil improvement works , helping shape a nationally significant clean energy project.The Role As Senior Site Engineer, you'll lead multiple engineering workfronts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers and work closely with project, commercial and operational teams to achieve successful project outcomes.Key Responsibilities Engineering & Site Delivery Lead engineering activities across multiple workfrontsCoordinate daily site operations and engineering resourcesResolve technical issues and provide engineering guidanceEnsure compliance with RAMS, permits, ITPs and project specificationsDrive quality, productivity and programme performanceHealth, Safety & Quality Champion a proactive safety culture across siteLead site briefings, investigations and corrective actionsEnsure QA processes and hold points are achievedManage NCRs and quality documentationProduce clear technical and quality reportsProgramme & Commercial Manage short-term planning and engineering sequencingMonitor critical path activities and programme progressSupport delay analysis and recovery planningPrepare and manage NEC Early Warnings, Compensation Events and change controlAssist with forecasting, productivity monitoring and subcontractor managementLeadership Mentor and develop Site Engineers and Graduate EngineersWork closely with project managers, commercial teams and designersBuild strong relationships with clients, alliance partners and stakeholdersPromote continuous improvement across project deliveryAbout You We're looking for someone with:Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering5+ years' experience delivering major civil engineering or infrastructure projectsStrong experience in ground engineering, diaphragm walls or soil improvementExcellent technical and problem-solving skillsExperience working under NEC contracts (NEC4 desirable)CSCS & SMSTSStrong communication and leadership abilitiesExperience using P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, CEMAR and ExcelDesirable Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards)NEC4 AccreditationAlliance project experienceExperience with compensation events and recovery planningIncident investigation or Appointed Person qualificationWhat's On Offer Competitive salaryAnnual performance bonusPrivate Medical InsuranceLife Assurance & Income ProtectionEnhanced pension contributionEnhanced sick pay25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service)Buy additional annual leaveProfessional memberships paidEmployee Assistance ProgrammeOngoing training and career developmentThis is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading engineering contractor delivering one of the UK's most technically challenging infrastructure projects, offering genuine career progression alongside exposure to cutting-edge geotechnical construction techniques.TPBN1_UKTJ
