Line Leader - Hiring Now | £1,500 signing on Bonus | Days only or Nights only | ChichesterAre you an experienced Line Leader? Would you like to earn a £1,500 signing on bonus? Were looking for a confident and proactive Line Leader to join our fast-paced Production team at Natures Way Foods.This is a hands-on Supervisory role with responsibility for leading your team to deliver safe, high-quality products while meeting daily performance targets. Youll coach colleagues, monitor KPIs, drive improvements and ensure food safety and compliance standards are met at all times.If you thrive in a busy FMCG environment and enjoy motivating others to achieve results, this could be your next step.Shift patternDays only:Fixed days 7am 7pm .You will work 7 days within a 14-day period . Typically:Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Week 2: Wednesday & ThursdayNights only:Fixed nights: 7pm 7am .You will work 4 days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.What you get from usSalary: £28,888 for days only or £33,014 for nights only£1,500 signing bonus which will be paid after successful completion of your 12 weeks probation periodNight shift allowance - £2,420£3,000 invested in your training from day oneFree English lessons (if required)Employer matched pension up to 5%Health cash planFlexible benefits including; Corporate gym discounts, enhanced maternity & paternity policy and many moreAccess to online GP & life assuranceResponsibilities Key Responsibilities As a Line Leader, you will:Lead, guide and coordinate Production Operatives and agency colleagues on your lineEnsure all Health & Safety standards are followed, reporting accidents and near misses immediatelyComplete start-up checks and manage non-conformances, escalating major issues appropriatelyEnsure food safety, GMP and customer standards are met at all timesTake ownership of line KPIs including yield, waste, giveaway and downtimeMonitor Short Interval Control (SIC) hourly and implement corrective actions when requiredEnsure accurate and timely completion of food safety and compliance paperworkCoach and train colleagues to achieve right-first-time quality standardsManage line resources effectively including labour, materials and equipmentDeliver clear and detailed handovers between shiftsIdentify and communicate continuous improvement opportunitiesThis is a supervisory role you set the standard and lead by example.Qualifications What Were Looking For Previous experience within FMCG or food manufacturingSupervisory experience or strong demonstrable leading capabilityProven machine operation experienceStrong understanding of KPIs and production targetsGood organisational and timekeeping skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityConfidence to coach, motivate and manage performanceFluent spoken and written EnglishIdeal candidate:Already working as a Line Leader, Senior Operative or aspiring SupervisorComfortable managing performance and escalating issuesData-driven and KPI awareStrong on food safety and complianceCalm under pressureFor terms and conditions regarding the signing on bonus, speak to the recruitment team who can provide the company policy.Our CompanyNatures Way Foods is the leading manufacturer of prepared salads, coleslaw and food-to-go for supermarkets and retailers, and as such we work closely with farmers across Europe.
