Important: All applicants must be able to obtain UKEYES Only clearance, and be a sole UK National.Working: The role offers flexible & hybrid working. It would be beneficial to be on-site 3 days a week, depending on the project needs and working remotely other days.-The Electronics Engineer is one of a team of engineers providing services in support of analogue, digital, and computer based safety systems.-The Electronics Engineer will be joining a team that has a diverse scope from requirements through to the design and maintenance of systems and products.-Role Responsibilities:Support discussions of proposed solutions with customer representatives to agree the optimum solution in terms of cost, timescale and ease of implementationHelp to establish a number of customer solutionsDetailed analysis of specific aspects of existing equipment to establish requirements for replacement or refurbishmentLiaison with suppliers regarding supply and support of third party equipmentCarrying out specified design and development work in own area of competenceSupport installation and commissioning of equipment on the customer's siteSupporting good customer relationships by presenting a professional engineering approach to the workSupporting the teams engineering capabilities with individual skill and determinationDeveloping personal engineering capability across the safety system and instrumentation areasProduce technical reports, clearly identifying the preferred course of action and why after analysis of legacy designsSkill and Experience;Able to demonstrate skill and experience in electronic/electrical equipment design or maintenance, preferably in a regulated industryDegree educated in Electronics Engineering or demonstrable industry experienceDemonstrable ability in electrical work and/or analogue and digital electronics using conventional logic families and programmable logicAppropriate technical qualifications in specific areas of electrical or electronic design or in instrumentation and controlAbility to communicate effectively within peer group and with manager / team leaderCapable of producing good oral and written communicationsDesirable Experience;Experience in the Defence or safety regulated environment would be advantageousExperience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.DOORS knowledge an advantage--Even If you feel like you don't meet every qualification, we encourage you to reach out an apply.Company Benefits;Bonus : Up to 5% of salary (based on performance).Facilities : On-site perks like subsidised meals and free parking.Training and Development : Excellent opportunities for career progression and skill developmentFor full information, please get in touch:TPBN1_UKTJ
