About the Role:
MY client is looking for an experienced Controls Systems Engineer to join the Performance & Control Team at their Peterlee facility.
This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing controls systems, ensuring robust performance of production equipment through software support, diagnostics, machine tuning, and validation activities within a fast-paced factory environment.

- Deliver controls and software support for manufacturing operations \n
- Diagnose and resolve equipment control system issues to minimise downtime \n
- Support commissioning, testing, and tuning of production machinery \n
- Develop a clear understanding of production procedures, analyse them, and drive continuous improvement \n
- Execute software updates, fault finding, and system optimisation \n
- Support validation and performance verification activities \n
Key Skills:

- \n
- Experience in industrial control systems and automation \n
- Knowledge of embedded control systems \n
- Knowledge of off-highway trucks or heavy machinery highly desirable \n
