Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Warrington, Cheshire | Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum DOE + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join a leading specialist engineering organisation at the forefront of nuclear safety, clean energy, defence and civil decommissioning.

This is an opportunity to work on highly specialised radiometric characterisation and alarm systems, contributing to technically challenging projects across the UK and internationally. You'll play a key role in developing innovative engineering solutions, supporting project delivery and helping maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

As an EC&I Engineer, you will:

• Develop and verify technical solutions in line with safety and quality standards.
\n
• Lead technical investigations and drive design improvements across projects.
\n
• Work closely with internal teams, customers and suppliers to manage specifications and delivery.
\n
• Provide systems input and technical support through installation, testing and commissioning.
\n
• Support project execution while mentoring and developing junior engineers.
\n
• Promote engineering excellence, health and safety, and continuous improvement across the business.
\n

We're looking for someone with:

\n
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
\n
• A background in EC&I, Physics or Radiometric Engineering.
\n
• Experience with control systems and analogue/digital electronics.
\n
• Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering teams and varied project environments.
\n
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with customers and suppliers.
\n
• Experience providing systems input and post-installation or third-line technical support.
\n
• Experience supporting testing, installation and commissioning activities.
\n
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartered status.
\n

Security Clearance:
\n The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
