Job Title: AI ArchitectContract: 6 MonthsLocation: Flexible / RemoteDay Rate: £550 - £750 (Inside IR35)Start Date: ASAPRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced AI Architect to play a critical role within a large-scale digital and technology transformation programme . This is a unique opportunity to help shape and secure the adoption of AI, LLMs, and Agentic systems within a complex, enterprise environment.You will operate at the intersection of architecture, security, and innovation , driving the safe and scalable use of advanced AI technologies while influencing strategic direction across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and evolve secure AI architecture roadmaps , ensuring alignment with broader technology and security strategiesLead the secure design, implementation, and governance of AI, LLM, and Agentic systemsDevelop and embed AI security standards, policies, and best practices across the organisationConduct and maintain threat models and risk assessments for AI systems, informing key business decisionsAct as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AI Security , supporting architecture boards, risk committees, and senior stakeholdersProvide guidance on secure AI adoption , including threat mitigation, governance, and complianceCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, and business teams to ensure secure, scalable deliveryEvaluate and implement emerging AI security technologies to reduce enterprise riskRequired ExperienceMinimum 7+ years' experience in Security Architecture within large, complex organisationsProven expertise in securing AI / GenAI systems , including LLMs and Agentic architecturesStrong knowledge of security domains : GRC, Application Security, Identity, Data, and CloudExperience defining and implementing security standards, policies, and governance frameworks for AIHands-on experience with threat modelling and risk analysis for AI systemsAbility to operate effectively in architecture governance forums and stakeholder environmentsStrong understanding of secure design principles and risk managementDesirable Skills & KnowledgeFamiliarity with frameworks and standards such as ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF , and relevant AI regulations (e.g. EU AI Act)Experience working in highly collaborative, global environmentsBackground in engineering or hands-on technical deliveryExposure to cloud-based AI platforms and modern development practices (Agile, APIs, etc.)What You'll BringStrong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior levelsA collaborative and proactive mindset , with experience working across diverse teamsThe ability to balance innovation with risk and governanceA passion for driving secure AI transformation at scaleWhy Apply?Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge AI transformation programmeInfluence how AI is adopted and secured within a large global organisationWork with modern technologies in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environmentLong-term contract with immediate start availableIf you're an experienced AI Architect with a strong security background and want to shape the future of enterprise AI adoption , we'd love to hear from you.If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
