Cerner/Oracle Health Data Consultants x2ContractRemote (Site visits required)The RoleAn UK health organisation is looking to engage two experienced Data Consultants with deep Cerner (Oracle Health) expertise to support the remediation of data pipeline performance issues within their data warehouse environment. This is a mainly remote role, with occasional site visits required for equipment collection and periodic stakeholder meetings.Two positions are available on a staggered start basis, with one Consultant required from 17th August and the second joining approximately two weeks later.Day to day, you will focus on identifying and resolving performance issues and broader problems affecting data pipelines. You will bring a strong problem solving mindset alongside hands on DBA skills to diagnose and remediate performance bottlenecks. You will also work closely with stakeholders across the Trust to gather and clarify requirements, so strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.Key Responsibilities Diagnose and remediate performance issues across data pipelines and warehouse processesApply DBA level expertise in performance tuning to resolve underlying data issuesSupport and advise on data architecture and data structure decisionsEnsure alignment with NHS national submission requirements and data dictionariesGather and translate requirements from stakeholders across the TrustRequirements Deep understanding of Cerner (Oracle Health) dataMinimum 5 years' experience working within the NHSAdvanced SQL skillsStrong DBA knowledge, particularly performance tuningSolid understanding of data architecture and data structuresWorking knowledge of NHS national submissions and data dictionariesStrong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skillsWorking Arrangements Mainly remote, with occasional site visits required for laptop collection and possible in-person meetingsNo security clearance requireTwo positions available, staggered start dates (17th August and approx. two weeks later)TPBN1_UKTJ
