Management Accountant

Exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing international business at a key point of transformation. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of month-end reporting while providing insight across margin, inventory, working capital and performance. With a finance restructure underway and further growth anticipated, this is a role offering genuine visibility, responsibility and development potential.What you'll doOwn the month-end process, including management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting.Provide meaningful commentary on performance, variances, costs and margins.Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly business reviews.Monitor working capital and cash flow.Maintain strong financial controls and reconciliations, supporting audit and compliance requirements.Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and reporting.Work closely with the Financial Controller and wider business to turn financial data into actionable insight.What you'll bringNewly qualified or finalist-level CIMA, ACCA or ACA.At least 2 years' experience in management accounting, financial analysis or financial control.A commercially minded approach, with the confidence to question numbers and understand the drivers behind performance.Strong analytical skills.Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP/financial systems.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams.Most importantly, the appetite to take ownership, develop and progress within a growing finance function.Package & working patternSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus bonus, private medical & enhanced pension.Genuine scope to develop alongside a finance function undergoing significant change and growth.Hybrid: 4 days a week on site.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidatesTPBN1_UKTJ
