Lighthouse Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose built 80 bed care home in New Brighton, Merseyside, delivering high quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a warm, supportive and person centred environment.Head Housekeeper Contract £13.71 per hourContracted to 40 hours per weekPaid DBS, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role OverviewAs Head Housekeeper, you will take overall responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the home, ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment is maintained at all times. This is a key leadership role where your standards and attention to detail will directly impact daily life and overall experience.You will lead and manage the housekeeping team, overseeing the cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms and all communal areas to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in line with infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures.Working closely with other departments, you will ensure a well organised and responsive service. You will monitor quality, manage supplies and support your team through training, guidance and leadership, creating a positive and high performing environment.
