They're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their Fareham team and take ownership of technical projects from initial scoping and design through to implementation and handover.THE PROJECT ENGINEER ROLEYou'll deliver infrastructure projects remotely and on customer sites, carrying out technical audits, site surveys, solution design, installation and configuration. Projects will cover Windows Server, Hyper-V, server/storage, LAN/WLAN, backup and security . You'll also support technical pre-sales opportunities and provide 3rd Line escalation support where required.PROJECT ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLSWindows Server, Hyper-V and SCCMActive Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group PolicyServer and storage infrastructureLAN / WLAN networkingBackup and recoveryFirewalls and network securityInfrastructure implementation and troubleshootingTechnical documentation, audits and site surveysExperience within an MSP or technical pre-sales environment would be beneficial, alongside HPE Server & Storage, Aruba/Aruba Central, Veeam, Smoothwall and SD-WAN .
