Sheet Metal WorkerJob Location: Ferndown, DorsetJob Type: PermanentSalary: £15.00 per hour (£585 per week / £30,420 per annum)Overtime available at x1.5 (£22.50 per hour)Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday Thursday 7.30am 4.45pm & Friday 7.30am 12.30pmWe are currently looking to recruit for Sheet Metal Worker on a Permanent contract for a busy and well-established Manufacturer.You will be preparing the metal for the manufacturing team to assemble into cabinets.Working within this small team you may be required from time to time to help out with other duties to ensure workflow is met.In this role you will be required to undertake:Cutting metal to manufacturing requirementsWorking to job cards & drawingsOperating hand and power toolsMeasuring out of materialsPrepping materials for production i.e., bending, folding etcFinishing of materials i.e., finishing / polishing etcThe successful applicant will:Have a previous background working within sheet metal cutting / fabricationBe able to read and work from drawings / job cardsAbility to pick things up quicklyBe willing to learn and have a 'can do attitudeHours: 39 hours per week, Monday Thursday 7.30am 4.45pm & Friday 7.30am 12.30pmPlease apply by email or call on 01202 686000.TPBN1_UKTJ
