Fire & Security Service Engineer

Join a growing team working across social housing and commercial sites , delivering high-quality service on a range of systems including fire alarms, access control, door entry, and security systems .This is a hands-on role where no two days are the sameperfect for an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently.What youll be doing:Carrying out reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance (PPM)Fault-finding and fixing fire alarms, access control & door entry systemsCompleting installations, inspections, and system testingLogging jobs accurately using CASH and providing clear reportsSupporting compliance with BS5839 and health & safety standardsParticipating in on-call rota and occasional overtimeDelivering excellent service across multiple client sitesWhat youll need:3+ years experience in Fire & Security engineeringStrong fault-finding and maintenance experience on systems such as:Fire alarms (e.g. Morley, Kentec, Advanced, Gent, Protec)Access control & door entry (e.g. Paxton, PAC, Videx)Good understanding of BS5839 standardsExperience with PPM, emergency lighting, and system inspectionsFull UK driving licenceBonus skills (desirable):Smoke control / AOV systems experienceFire extinguisher servicingExperience using CASH or similar systemsWhat were looking for:Strong problem-solver with attention to detailReliable, flexible, and able to manage workload independentlyTeam player with great communication skillsPositive, can-do attitudeTPBN1_UKTJ
